John and Lisa are both General practitioners of Traditional Acupuncture, with their own areas of special interest as listed below:
John is a fully qualified and experienced acupuncturist who opened Redlands Acupuncture in August 2006. John commenced his acupuncture studies in 2001 at the International College of Oriental Medicine. He has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Five Element, Stems and Branches and Western Medical Acupuncture theories.
Having completed his four year full-time acupuncture degree, John has continued his studies in neuromuscular dysfunction and clinical examination at Oxford Brookes University.
John has completed many post graduate courses including: traditional pulse diagnosis, male and female fertility and gynaecological problems, death and bereavement, cosmetic acupuncture and more.He holds a Diploma in Holistic Massage which is often integrated within his acupuncture treatments.
John is a strong believer in evidence based practice and constantly endeavours to keep up to date with the latest research in the field of acupuncture. He is passionate in both the traditional theories of acupuncture and western physiological theories. John has a warm friendly personality and is a very passionate and committed Acupuncturist, as reflected with his patients’ success rates. He regularly attends postgraduate lectures to continue and further his development as an acupuncturist.

Lisa and John are members of the British Acupuncture Council and abide by the BAcCs Code of Safe Practice and Code of Professional Conduct. They are both covered by full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
